The Sinn regulateur is a departure from the usual Sinn style

And I am not sure how successful it will be. I remember the last time Sinn made an interesting non-utilitarian watch, the 22-ct. gold chronograph, it never sold very well. Technically it was pretty interesting, Sinn managed to treat the 22-ct. gold so as to maintain enough material hardness to withstand wear. As far as I know it was the only 22-ct. gold watch made in contemporary times. Perhaps today's market is different enough for Sinn to break out of its traditional niche.
