i'm with Art on this. i really like the Spherodrive movement.
Eterna deserve much more recognition, because, and please correct me if i'm wrong, without the Eterna matic movement there would be no ETA 2824 etc.
they certainly have a place in my heart although i only own one now.

best

Fascinating ...

I always had a soft spot for Eterna, and felt very sorry for its demise, while it had such a great potential for mechanical innovation. Let's hope that under the new ownership the situation will improve. Thank you for the great overview of movements! Marc...

I'm going to get myself a look at that new KonTiki

since owning this one (a long time ago), I too have had a fondness for Eterna watches. and I like that Adventic too. Thanks Don. Mike ...

That 3510 movement and the round 3515 are indeed certainly quite handsome and well finished with impressive capabilities for this price range. Looking forward to seeing the round one housed in a classic case, perhaps like from the Vaughn collection cases....

. . . amongst moderators. Even though I've never owned one, they're one of mine as well. There's a current model, the Madison Sphere-o-drive, that's been on my short list ever since it was introduced. Thanks, Don, for bringing us this report. Can't wait f...

Fascinating news with (some) special twists...

like the tilted double date on a bombé dial. Otherwise I think the brand still needs to find a common language, particularly on the otherwise quite promising movements. Cheers, Magnus

Eterna has a stable of great movements. Hopefully great design will be mated to these movements. I am not sure what they are trying to accomplish with the new Kon Tiki design.
