I think GP3300 (033C0) equiped with gold rotor or any rotor post-2003 are equiped with ceramic ball bearings.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Peter, May I know whether GP is using any ceramic ball bearings on their WWTC chronograph watches ? I bought a SS WW.TC a few years back (year 2003 ?) but I do not think it is fitted with these bearings and think it is fitted with a GP033C0 calibre. If...

I suppose I may have given the wrong calibre number as the rotor of mine is SS. Regards

Hi Ken, rotors for GP watches with steel cases are usually made of brass plates with nickel or rhodium plating; it´s most likely not a steel part, just that the colour is very close. Steel watches don´t come with ceramic ball bearings, but these can be re...
