Ceramic Ball Bearings

Oct 26, 2007,10:17 AM

Hi Peter,

May I know whether GP is using any ceramic ball bearings on their WWTC chronograph watches ?

I bought a SS WW.TC a few years back (year 2003 ?) but I do not think it is fitted with these bearings and think it is fitted with a GP033C0 calibre.

If they are not, do you think it is possible to make an upgrade of using these bearings on my current watch since these bearings are said to be better ?

Pardon me for my limited knowledge.

Hope you can enlighten me.

Thank you.

Regards,

Ken

I think GP3300 (033C0) equiped with gold rotor or any rotor post-2003 are equiped with ceramic ball bearings. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks vlkcheng for your response....
