It's been in more than one cellar actually and shows it's age on the label only. The wine itself is immaculate and fresh. My cellar is loaded with Angelus. My favourite right bank second only to Petrus and Ausone IMHO. Albeit not inexpensive Angelus is at...

of figeac but the 1998,2001 were drinking beautifully and more than justified their reasonable outlay,in view of today's exagerated prices.

to be honest ive had very few bottles of figeac and would need to check my tasting notes to check vintages, but certainly '98 should be excellent and I find 01's across the board left and right offer great value and can be enjoyed now. Best,

last night the Angelus was too good I thought it was a good idea to also drink our house wine (2011 pontet canet). My wife wasn't much help so I'm not moving at light speed today
