The famous breakfast at speed of light in the city.
Scrambled egg with thick toast and macaroni with ham. The same menu for more than 40 years. Most clients will finish their meals in around 15 minutes….

Yes, the mixture of coffee and milk tea is a classic, with a beautiful nickname of "mandarin duck" :)

What base is the macaroni sitting in? I don’t think it’s a cheese sauce.🤔

Chicken soup, I believe. Quite nice in term of quick casual food.

Was just talking to a friend yday on the standard instant noodle with luncheon meat. Even something as simple as that, we could not reproduce the same “taste” at home. Enjoy!

I have some words and pictures on my phone for months I’ve been meaning to post about Cha Chaan Teng. I must do it! Scrambled eggs, toast always my go-to. And maybe sometimes Yuenyeung.

Glad you like them, Jay. Scrambled eggs with toast and Yuenyeung (mixture of coffee and milk tea) at Cha Chaan Teng are indeed classic casual and comfort food in the city.
