The shaved ice on the left is Japanese style, with black sesame syrup on top and cookies inside. The other one on the right is the Warabi mochi, a kind of jelly cake covered with yellow bean powder. They are ones of my favourite desserts

So the shaved ice is that big white ball (which I think is sitting in a white bowl), and the black syrup I assume is sweetened. And the cookies are inside the white ice, or inside the syrup?

it’s called kakigori, hope you can have some when you visit especially in summer, there are so many great toppings it’s delicious.
