and also fairly subtle. Sapphire/diamond can be overused, resulting in too much transparency but that's not the case here. - SJX

That is the perfect movement for the technology! I'm just glad I didn't have to re-poise the tourbillon carriage after all the movement changes and the addition of the WC axis. That must have been quite the job A

I'm not a fan of titanium etc as you know

but I must say this looks absolutely superb! Very well done Cartier! Did they manage to shrink the case diameter though? iirc, the original was like 45 or 46mm.

This may be the final reason why I want to get one

I have always liked the Astrotourbillon. But I never got one as it is large, and of course, an expensive piece to consider, with many choices at this price point. This one as the 1st production Cartier using the new materials, so clearly explained by SJX,...
