They look indeed a lot skinnier then on the Dumont 1913. Perhaps a minor adjustment made by Cartier to give the watch more body?

I humbly submit this as the answer - a 1916 Cartier Santos in platinum and a recent Santos 100. This particular vintage Santos is in platinum with a yellow gold snap back; all Santos of that vintage had gold backs, regardless of case material. It measures...

Original design a litle bit larger ; as they did with the Santos Dumont 1914 limited edition in the collection privée...it is such a nice design !
