Well, here it is!
Oct 31, 2017,06:46 AM
Thanks to everyone who weighed in on my earlier post. To keep a short story short, my dealer found the Octo Finissimo automatic on bracelet for me quickly (it seems usually it's a 4-month wait) - and less than 72 hours after first trying on a Finissimo on strap, there's a new addition to the family...
So far I am struck not only by how comfortable it is, but how understated it is too - really surprisingly subtle and versatile with the matte finish.
I have a feeling this one will be with me for a long time!
Best
E.

It's worth trying on again, in bracelet if you can find it. I've been surprised today, wearing it to work, at how I completely forgot it was there - the thinness and lightness really are incredible. At the end of the first day it doesn't even feel new any...
Do see it in person

It's rather different from the photos. The honeymoon period - I think this is already over. In a good way! It's just natural on my wrist already. Best E.
I'm sure you will...

Just come to HK and I'm happy to arrange it! 😜 Best E.
It is unique

I've not seen anything else with titanium looking quite like this. A bit of a surprise and quite a pleasant one too. It works to mitigate the quite intense lines of the shape - makes it much more wearable as a whole! Best E.
Interesting!

Do tell - what was the most surreal element? I am quickly finding that it feels very normal, by the way. Testament to its qualities that this is the case. Best E.
It was so thin yet so complex

The case was not simple - it was quite complex. Yet impossibly thin! And combined with a movement that is so thin that I thought: "how in the world did they do that!"
Thank you, Richard

Will hope to catch up in KL soon and see how it fits your wrist! Best E.
Congrats! Looks great on your wrist.

I saw one the other day at one of the Boutiques in NJ. They didn't have the bracelet version, but on a strap: Once again, enjoy it! Mark ...

Thanks Mark. Were you tempted? Best E.
Thoroughly modern and yet classic...

I have a feeling the Finissimo will be around for a long time as well in the annals of horology. Congrats!
Here's hoping

I too think this one may have real lasting power! Thanks and best E.
Congratulations, E!

Hey, long time no chat! I've always liked the Octo Finissimo and this titanium piece has whetted my appetite! In the past, however, the rather meh movement finishing has consistently turned me off. According to your descriptions, this has not changed in t...
