New Breguet...........
Mar 03, 2017,15:18 PM
I picked up a Breguet 5140 with the enamel the other day. So far I'm very happy with the watch! When I get some time I will do a little write up on it. For now here are two wristshots in two different shades of light. This watch is gorgeous in person!

This is a beautiful watch.

Breguet may have been ahead of the curve on RG-Enamel-dialed watches. This can hold its own with Lange and GP and anyone else. And only you will know. Unfortunate.
Thanks Padj.......

One of the reasons I like the watch is because it isn't seen very often. With that being said, and as nice as it is, this Breguet doesn't hold up very well against your last two Lange's!!! Tony
Nice catch and Congrats!

I always like this one a lot. The only thing I wish for is that if it comes with a hunter case back, I would buy it in a heart beat.
Ultimate dress watch!

I also strongly considered a VC patrominy which are very nice dress watches as well. Tony
Gorgeous shot!

I\'ve often lusted after an enamel Breguet to accompany my guilloche 3490. Yours is QUITE gorgeous ! Congrats
From memory I think it's 34mmx32mm.

Although it wears a little larger because of the thin bezel. It is VERY light and the guilloche dial looks almost ivory/cream colour it bright sunlight. One of my favourite dress watches. ...
Thanks. Yes, mid-1990 I think.

This model was the precursor to the modern Breguet Heritage line; but I must confess I prefer the older models before they became hulking and rather oversized for my liking. Cheers
Congratulations Tony

Your choice for this one was difficult I suppose as the other version with its wonderful guilloche dial is really desirable too. Best wishes Alkiro
Gorgeous watch!

The dial is so clean and wonderful and has a very special warmth. One of my favourite Breguets and definitely on my wishlist. Huge congrats, Tony! Best, Thomas

+1 for the open caseback.

On the other hand the 40mm seem "perfect" for me although perhaps too big for a "classique" model. What do you think of the WG version with silver dial? Best, Thomas
Congratulations!

Gorgeous dial, and no date! I also love the asymmetrical placement of the small seconds...a very traditional Breguet touch. And the printing of the dial logo is exactly the right size and not too large as is the style generally. Congrats again! Cheers, Br...
Thanks Brandon........

The offset sub dial makes this watch for me. I love the uncommon-ness of it!
