... to count as a dress watch, but the Blancpain Pulsometre Chronographe in return offers an amazing enamel dial which has 36(!) mm diameter and excellent legibility for my old eyes





I consider it a casual watch ;-)

The size (43.6mm) and the complications of this watch definitely position it as a casual watch like you said even if the rose gold case and this nice enamel dial are more dressy codes in my opinion

That's my paradoxical feeling about Blancpain (same for Breguet). These two brands always try to find a compromise between history and modernity which is particularly hard to achieve in my opinion. Best wishes Alkiro

I think their challange is more about balance than compromise Alkiro1. It think both (Breguet and Blancpain) manufacturers are at the top of the pile with their technological developments

and they make no compromise on wanting to retain classical features and skills with some of the the best enameling and guilloche on their dials and cases. That's the paradox they have.
