That sounds worrying, especially when accompanied by a winking-smiley !! Do you see a problem with the case back here ? It is so badly worn on the outside that almost all evidence of originality is gone. But in some lights you can make out the lines that ran either side of the NSN number, and with a loupe and a little time you can find a few letters on the circumference which are all in the right place.

No, not on yours. But I saw many case backs which were not the one of the watch serviced.

For example, with a serial number belonging to another watch of the same kind. Or belonging to another reference.
