Hi,

Mine was bright enough to read this morning - though it takes a while to "resolve" which hand each of the blobs of glowing light represents!

The alarm time does not know between AM and PM, but you will have "probably" cancelled the alarm, by pressing the button at 8, when it rang in the morning. So the alarm won't ring until you then re-enable the alarm (by again pressing the button at 8).

PS - I don't know if it is good in the ocean - mine is the WG one with leather strap: not ideal oceanwear

is the Super Luminova bright enough to look at watch in the wee hours of the morning? Also, if i set alarm at 5:00 - how does watch know to set off alarm for am or pm? thanks
