The Charming Bird – 2016 version

2016 version of the fascinating miniaturzed singing birds feature a hand-painted and engraved mother-of-pearl dial evoke the landscape of the Swiss countryside, a historic Jaquet Droz motif.The traditional technique of paper cutting inspired this representation. The first photos are from the RG version with a RG bird. The WG version features a painted bird. Judge for yourself and dont miss the youtube video sequence.

The Bird Repeater – Schaffhausen Rhine Fall Version

The Bird Repeater is shown in the 2016 version with a background portraying the Rhine Fall near Schaffhausen. The Automata as such is unchanged and fascinating as ever – please see the youtube video sequence below.

Lady 8 Flower 2016 version

the 2016 version comes without the butterfly dial, and therefore puts the Flower Automata more in the center of the attention.

The  pictures below shows the flower in closed mode – the video sequence will show the flower opening and closing.
