the vintage one had the 2120 movement based on the jlc 920 and the new one has the 3120 a fully inhouse one, but the problem I have with audemars piguet watches is their fragility

There is something that Audemars is lacking for me, ruggedness unlike Rolex, Omega or Breitling. Design wise , it is a unique and clever design but they are more dress watches than tool watches. I prefer your geophysic or geomatic to this watch. But this ...

used the 3120 movement, as does the current 15400. The 15202 has always used the original cal 2121.
