You know I watched yours over and over before I made this purchase.
I am actually surprised that the PT case sounds so good. Maybe its because of the display back - the case is also not so thick....It really spectacular! Having the minute repeating function really pushed me over the edge to buy it.
Hope all is well - Thanks again!
Best regards,

I think it is for many of us. A Grande Sonnerie, housed in such a remarkable and discrete watch. Huge congrats, asg. I'm sure that your week end will be very exciting. This reminds me that when I got my Minute Repeater, I spent the 3 or 4 first nights in ...
Thank you!

I have had the watch for about two and a half weeks now. I know exactly what you are saying about spending time in the bathroom with the watch....I find the shower (no water obviously) makes a great "chamber" for the watches hammers and gongs to chime! I ...

Fantabulous find. AP makes great dress watches, but everyone, myself included, is obsessed with the ROOs
Thanks....I think...

That, like all things, some of the flash and zing of the ROO will fade over time. Too many LE's at this point to get me excited about something new. A watch like the G&PS is very pure to me, and hopefully will last the test of time. Thanks again, asg
Nice pickup!

Something very special about a Grande Sonnerie, the chime will put a smile on your face,. I especially like the sound of the gong deploying. Enjoy and wear in the best of health. JerryW

high complication at its best. Even the size is perfect: 39mm Congrats & thanks for sharing. May I ask you to share a soundfile with us? That would be great. Oliver
Absolutely! I am a big fan of the 38mm-40mm case!
By: asg : November 1st, 2010-07:18
Yes, this watch is measured at 39mm. It wears a little bigger because of the flat case design and the repeater button and crown. I am very happy with the size of the watch. We need more "dress" watches in the 38-39mm range. Thanks again! asg
Big Congrats :-)

Finished so well, I was totally impressed. To my untrained eye, this AP is finished to the Nth degree! It is "much better" than what I come to expect from folks like Patek, Journe etc. Yours is attractive to me as well....wish I could own both! Good Luck!...
Congrats for this Carillon !

This is without any doubt a superb Sonnerie: its 3 hammers, the presence of the dynamograph, its very discrete style make it very attractive. Fr.Xavier...

This is indeed a very special piece. I can only hope that one day I will be able to find my "grail" piece and that I will have the good fortune to be able to acquire it when I do find it.
Congrats!
