There are at least 3 different 15202 dial styles I have had in my hands over the years that have varied amounts of guilloche squares and different dial markings (font on the original 15202 dial). I have photos of a few different 15202 dials, and none have...
They both look fantastic in my eyes. Although, considering the 15202 is discontinued, the 16202 is likely my only option - if I were ever granted the privilege of procuring one!
I prefer the dial on the 16202. In person, the differences are apparent. And the movement changes are quite welcomed on a modern production timepiece. Thanks for the photos!
But in my humble opinion, nothing beats this reference, in this segment. Nothing. I have the 5711, but the style of the 15202/16202 and the history is unsurpassed. Perfect in every way imho, in this segment
And the elusive 50th anniversary alarm clock I must say the new 16202 is functionally and dimensionally better - but there is a certain charm of the 15202 that is unmistakable. Thanks for sharing! Cheers Peter
