For me it was the AP Dealer in Salhiya Mall in Kuwait, Mr Nazeer, an eldely kind Indian gentleman was the Manager, at the time I was into Panerai in 2002 and the AP was the most expensive watch I ever bought....
I paid a deposit and had the watch on hold till the end of the month so I could pay for it, the joy and excitement of buying my first AP was something I can never forget and for this reason the COS has a special place in my heart forever. S
I know what you mean, but I found the Tudor one to be quite fun when I tried it.
For me the Tudor is much more interesting than the Omega Alinghi (but obviously not as good as this AP). All the best, Jon

Love the CoS especially the engraving on the back, as well as the cool case. Wish they would do more on packaging and detailing on the back! Mmmm and Arabic numerals on the dial Cheers Peter
