Another week with the Starwheel...

And I am thoroughly appreciating this model. In the end, complex dial, on an exquisite case, and a simple movement. Kudos to AP for creating such an outstanding piece.

Now with Ilaria's new interview, I am really curious to see what's next in terms of this model. Ladies model? Different colours? Different metals? Skeletonized?

Just excited!!!

Peter

I'm convinced it is the dome shaped discs in the circular case with the domed crystal that make the Starwheel breathtaking in person.

It all comes together perfectly. And you are right, the movement itself is not ultra complicated, but who cares about that. The end result here is just superb. I have a strong feeling a luminous version will come. Will AP lume all 12 numbers? No way. That...

All great ideas!

I think they can create an entire platform of neat variations. Definitely the luming would already make a big difference, and take that and skeletonize it, use sapphire disks, and that would be wicked. Seems like this is only the beginning! Glad to be par...

I hope our original always remains that!

Most or all of the early versions have sapphire discs. I love the solid aluminum on ours. But no doubt, they will go back to it at some point with the new model.

Starry night.

I think the aventurine addition is not just an added feature it's incredibly harmonious to the movement and the model. Cheers Peter

I totally agree with that.

And one of the few that have implemented this to a high standard. Hope they continue to refresh some of the old to be the new next year. Seems like QP is likely, but what about a jumping hour? Peter

Very Fan of Star Wheels
