1001 variations

Here are pics of the 1001, 1001/1 and 1001/2 for comparison.  The progression of design is interesting.  Notice the addition of a Kif-Flector shock absorber with the Gyromax and a Duofix setting on the upper escape wheel in the /2 version.  The JLC 818/2 also featured both of these modifications.

Can anyone help with the specifics of this vintage movt. What does the K mean and the /2. Good Movt our just a continuation of perfection that V&C continues to strive for. Any help would be greatly appeciated. Thank You
