Vacheron Constantin: VC delivered this watch on a shiny black strap...

and it gave it a too formal look. I like what you've done here! Bill

Vacheron Constantin: I find this particular skeleton perpetual...

to be relatively easy to read the information on. The railroad track for hours and minutes is useful and makes the larger case work compared with the previous generation. Bill

Vacheron Constantin: I would do it....

it's too bad the papers aren't with it, but I would still move ahead on it. You should plan on a service, as it is now 5 years old. Bill

Vacheron Constantin: Congrats on your first VC!

Since you traded a Sub to get it I recommend that you eventually get the stainless steel bracelet to give you a new and useful look. Bill

Vacheron Constantin: I like the new Overseas....

but I don't own one. Vacheron Constantin has had blue dials for all the previous generations of the Overseas and I am happy to see that continue with this new edition, even if Piaget (Polo S) , Cartier (Calibre Diver), and others are also going blue (obviously catching the Jim Harbaugh Michgian Foot

Vacheron Constantin: If you like the gen 2 Overseas better than the new models....

then by all means jump on one as soon as you can! A number of collectors will also get a rubber strap and steel buckle to give it an additional look. I hop your next post will show it on your wrist! Bill

Vacheron Constantin: I've always like the way the QDI can dress up or down to suit one's taste....

and I too am a fan on the bronze case watches (though I never would expect one from VC). The Oris "Brashear" is pretty sweet as well. Bill
