Is this patina and how do I wind the watch
Hi guys,
I just got this vintage Zenith Big blue. Found this "gold like" patch at the bottom right corner (where the date is). Seller claimed that this is patina.
Can u guys advise based on your experience whether he is correct or is this in fact a stain?
Also I can't seem to manually wind the watch. Tried turning the crown clockwise but it is extremely tight. Is this suppose to be the case? If so, how does one manually wind this watch?

In my part of the world
some people sell well patinated second hand cars. I call them Rosty Bags. Best, Kari

I expect you will be very unhappy if you look at the movement. I hope you can return it.
Movement looks fine in the pictures he uploaded on ebay

I would definitely do so. The watch is a collectible classic, rightly so, and I think it deserves...
