A gentle reminder about WPS rules (applies to images and text).
"Think of this as a virtual cocktail or dinner party with people you're meeting for the first time - don't write anything that you would not say to someone in person or have said to you."
Imagine yourself meeting people for the first time, in mixed company, at a cocktail party. You're thinking about showing them some photos on your phone and making some comments about those photos.
If you genuinely think that a typical WPS member would feel fine showing those same photos and making those same comments in that setting, then it should be fine to do so here. Otherwise, kindly refrain.
Here's a way to think about whether particular photos of women are okay to post here.
Let's say you're at a cocktail party, and one of the other guests whom you've never met before takes out his phone and shows you some photos. The photos happen to be of your very own mother, sister, daughter, spouse, etc., wearing the very same clothing and striking the very same poses shown in the photos that you'd like to post here! And he makes the very same comments about those photos that you're about to make here!
You good with all that? If so then it should be fine to post those here. Otherwise, kindly refrain.
Thank you for your understanding, friends, and I look forward to your cocktail party invitations -- I assume I'm now at the top of your list, and I'll bring Debbie Downer as my +1!
