Limited Editions
Hi everyone! I was just wondering about something, yes, AGAIN.... Does Patek Philippe come up with special editions/limited editions annually for individual markets?
I have noticed certain brands has resorted to launching 'Special Editions' or 'Limited Editions' almost on an annual basis, and sometimes even for different markes, different events. I find this quite frustrating, as they only do little for these specials editions, e.g, tweaking the case slighlty, dial colour, etc etc...
Worst offender would be those wo says it's a limited production, like e.g, 500 annually, but for the following year, another batch of 'limited edition' is launched which looks like 95% of the previous year's!
I wonder if you guys feel it equally frustrating as it just seems to 'tarnish' the notion of limited editions! And these are from major brands as well!
So far, th only 'limited edition' from patek philippe i can think of is the 150th Anniversary, anyone else has some 'limited edition'? Please post some pics so we can check it out!
