Just want to inform all that things were not sorted out well ...

 

Hello all...

Last week I had posted that Patek had sorted the matter out.... cause I got a voicemail from a senior staff and I was asked to call back so I did and after we spoke I was informed that the watch would be replaced...

I have emails from the person confirming to to replace the watch and that i will be there for some one to collect.

The end of the next day I got an email asking me me why I called Patek up? when two options were given to me. and I was informed that only two options would be there to replace the dial or take 5712/1A for which I would need to fly and I am not willing to do that as it makes me feel cheap ( I cant send anyone as I did and nothing worked out) I have kept the flight ticket for the same.

Firstly I did not call them they called me and left a voice mail to call back...which is saved as well...

Things are pretty complicated and they too have made things not so easy...

now the dial change is going to take about 2 weeks or so... and I don't have the time for that and also am not very happy with something that has been forced on me for no reason of mine...

its like a diamond with flaw...

sad is the story but true
