Tito had quite a few "rose gold, circa 1950" watches. I believe that most of them had his name (signature) engraved on the back. The references that are known to me (YG and RG): 1591, 1526, 570, 1589, 2494, 2488, 3438(?).
The only watch that pops up on google (with your keywords) looks like the one you described, so I guess that's the one you're referring to:
RG, rose dial, circa 1950, "Tito" on the back
That is a ref. 1589, diam. 36mm, 10 mm thick, manual cal. 12-120, produced from 1944-1953(54?)
