Great watch. this exact model
Got me into the Nautilus line.
Many years ago, around 2004-5, but feels like yesterday, I was walking along 5th ave in NY, back from a meeting.
Passing by WEMPE and watching the windows while walking, no intention to get any new watch,
and voila, in the Patek display section visible from the small area in front of the shop (kind of a circle walk off the sidewalk but outside the shop) I noticed a 3710 just next to a RG 5070 "smoke" dial. 2 of then my favorite Pateks and first time to actually see them.
Here goes the plan and I stepped into the shop, asked to view them both,
Rep, said they just arrived in the morning, tried them on, liked them both,
An hour later, a coffee and nice chat and I left the shop with a new watch on my wrist!
Guess which one?
I should've said "An hour later, a coffee, a nice chat and ~40K$ short".... I left the shop...
Cpl years later I got the 3712 1A...
