I was offered a 5524g by my AD. I ended up passing on it.
I’ve been wanting a 5524g but now I think I really want a 5212a over the 5524g. If the rumors that the 5524g may be discontinued come true I may regret that decision, but right now nearly new ones can be found secondhand at a discount so hard to throw down an extra 10k just to have my name on Certs. Am I crazy?

Don't ever regret your decision. Many years ago, I was offered a PAM203 from Panerai and I passed.

AD won’t do discount.
I meant they are selling for almost 10k below retail on secondhand market so makes it even harder to buy from AD.
