Golden Ellipse ref. 3948
Does anyone know how many golden ellipse ref. 3948 manual wind watches (cal. 215s) were made, and when they started making them and when they stopped? Why were they discontinued except for the automatic with a blue dial? Any other information about this model would be much appreciated, for instance the history of the design and how many different dials were offered. I have one with roman numerals and find it to be a fantastic watch, light to wear and extremely elegant.
