5111 wristband
I have been a visitor to this site a number of times and finally, I took the pluinge and registered. Tons of great info but even better is the enthusiasm that comes through on each post. Anyway, this is my first post.
Just bought a display 5111R from Tiffany. They asked if I want to change out the wristband. Of course I said yes. Herein lies my dilemma. I can't find out information on straps. The back of my strap has some alphas and numbers — B A50 — which I gave them but they cannnot identify the color.
They gave me three options of colors to choose from, a) brown gloss sheen, b) a matte brown and c) a chocolate gabardine. I am pretty sure the 5111G comes with the chocolate band but I have no idea as to what type a "gabardine" strap is. I want to replace my strap with another, identical, strap due to some minor scratches, but I don't know which to order. Gabardine??? Yikes! I want another croc strap. Any thoughts or comments?
