3940R or 5039G? Opinions sought

Hi,

My local dealer offers me the two watches for the same price. This 3940R has the relatively new (?) black hands and dial with black painted roman markers, whereas the 5039G has the traditional WG hands and markers.

Which one do you think I should go for? Why?
Is it an expectation that any scratches on the 5039G will be harder to deal with because of the Rhodium plating and hobnail bezel?
Any ideas on relative production numbers a) between these two models and b) between these and say 5110 or 5035?

For the price of either of these perpetuals I could get both 5035 and 5110. I'm just not sure which way to go. If I had a choice, I would probably go for 5039R, but I really don't want to wait any longer.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks!
