I am hoping that someone can offer a suggestion on what to do next.
I purchased a new Calatrava 3802 from an authorized retailer (I am in USA). 11 days later my husband noticed that his watch simply stopped. After one winding the watch resumed movement for about 20 minutes and then stopped completely. When we decided to look at the case more closely, we noticed two tiny (almost imperceptible to the naked eye) scratches on the back of the watch. (Why would this be the case for a new watch?)
Needless to say, at this point I am hesitant to return to the same retailer for service. Which steps/precautions would you take should this have happened to you? Thank you for your replies.
