When I wind my 5270 at the same time everyday (usually in the morning), it takes me around 30 turns to fully wind up.

If I wind it from a fully un-wound status, it will take 60-70 turns.
Will feel a very definite resistance when the watch is fully wound up, then stop winding.
Unlike the 5170, 5270 does not have the dynamometric winding crown function when reaching the fully wound state.
Due to the worry of damaging the crown clicking system, I never tried to to unwind the crown after fully wound up,

if you wind slowly, you will feel tension building, then ,wind back a few turns. be careful.
Very gently wind until you feel the hard stop

As with all watches, winding becomes harder as the spring tension increases but you will hit a hard stop which is the full wind. I call it "kick back" which is a made up term by me, but the tendency for the crown to turn/spin back will increase as tension...
