Thanks Wellingtonian, of course I also love the stylish 5167 (aside from the Nautilus). After all, I am a slave to Patek ☺

For better or worse, the Aquanaut 5065 stands out with its ungainly grenade dial, and has a unique, uncool charm that the current model (5167) lacks.

In addition to 5065A, I recently acquired 5065J. The bracelet is comfortable to wear despite its strange appearance The one I bought was the 5065J with an additional J bracelet (sold separately at the time), but it looks the same as the original 5065/1J. ...

Hehehe, "uncool charm" -

I like both the phrase and the watch: decidedly baroque looking for a sports watch! Cheers Marc

Do the 5066 and 5065 have dials of the same size?

Or put another way, is the difference in diameter / size between the references entirely attributable to the case? I find the 5066 "easy-going" and immediately attractive. The 5165 also. But I have not experienced the 5065. Good day, chk

I love these old ones.

Its dial is the most interesting, by far

Charming original Aquanauts.

I think these look better than the Nautilus

After having owned a Nautilus, I kinda regret I didn’t get the Aquanaut instead. That is a beauty and I kinda like that older style bracelet.

Lovely duo ! You should be
