This made me feel a little uncomfortable... To think that the MSRP of this watch was around usd 80k, and we can get a Tiffany stamped piece for less than that, while some are asking for double on double signed 5711's, just feels awkward. Of course, sport ...

I get what you mean, but valuation is a funny thing and this only seems like a 'bargain' compared to its MSRP
In the end it is still quite a premium over the steel watch. Having precious metals as case material seems luxurious but in the end there are also not a lot of such metals used per watch (ie if you melt it all down it's only worth a few K at most). Theref...
