Patek Philippe

Was in Geneva over the weekend and was fortunate enough to have time to visit the Patek Showroom. Wrapped the 5270 and the 5208 around my wrist, truely outstanding pieces. Now I guess we are all looking forward to the 5004A in steel. Best K...

Were these the actual working models (upstairs on the first floor) or the non working one's? I love the way that the colour of dial in your 2nd photo appears to have changed completely. What are your thoughts, having now seen them? Regards Tony

they do make the dial less crowded. Guess one can't win all the time. Lovely watch nonetheless. Sihe

I like the cleaner dial because I really cannot read anything out of the 5970 busy dial, 3970 with the smaller dial even worse for me. My eyes are getting worse over the years! So, the cleaner it is but with the same functions, the better it is for me. I ... 

The 5970 feels more "special" and romantic. That's the feeling I get each time I see one or the other, and subconsciously compare them. Would be great if one of the moderators here can get PP to loan one or both, and do a compario. Best, Horo
