I'm at a loss for what to do. I have this amazing PP pocket watch dial and movement that's about a 42 mm size that I acquired from my watchmaker friend. He inherited it when he bought a retiring watch maker's stock/equipment 20 years ago. The case was obviously sold off for gold and the movement needs to be restored. I'm thinking about trying to have it recased into a wristwatch. Does anyone know anyone interested in this business? I asked Patek but they said that they only restore watches with matching movement and case and I'm sure the case is someone's wedding ring. It's a single button split chronograph and except for a very superficial hairline in one of the sub dials, the porcelain dial is perfect. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Howard
