5296G/R Availability
The 5296R are still readily available in most AD in Asia (I visited 4 ADs this week and all 4 have new delivery of the 5296R). My AD also took delivery of the 5296G this week. All are sector dials although no one can confirm whether this is the last run nor will they confirm whether they are discontinued or not.
Most ADs are still offering normal "discount" (as is common practice in Asia) on this basic model.

My AD called PP, spoke with the right party, and confirmed that the 5296 is no more. My AD is the second largest PP dealer in the US, and has always given me accurate advice, and now, I have no reason to doubt. BB The Goal is Soul
