3712 Production numbers

Sep 13, 2015,08:57 AM

I have heard number for 3712 is less than 600 which makes it the rarest in steel. Does anyone have more details or substance to production numbers?

For me it also fits well with the white date window. Cheers, Thomas

In this case it works very well. 5711 white dial is not nice like this. Here it has some kind of Bauhaus. Well done, enjoy! Best Tempus

I think the 5711 White Dial...

is nice in many ways. Not sure a 5711 vs a 5980 can be compared. BUT... I agree the 5980 in white is spectacular. Would love to add it to my 5711 some day. ...

fresh

i think the Nautlius it's more than cool in white...

...but I can't think of having only one that is not blue. white for the second or third Nautilus is the way...and it's my humble opinion :-) had to chance to try it for a while...still in my heart...maybe someday... cheers, chris ...

Blue is the classic

So I can understand very well. That\'s why I got myself a 15202ST to make up for not having something blue ;-) But on the wish list there is still this PP 3712 I would love to own. My wish list sadly never takes a look at my bank account.....

Who's calling 3712?

less than 2 years ago I almost

bought one, but it got 'stolen' away right under my nose. And compared to the prices they are asking now it was a steal! :-( #gutted

I think the current prices are a steal

when the collectors realise how different 3712 actually is compare to 5712. And rare - if somebody is interested about rarity. Best, Kari

mmmm

Don\'t say stuff like that to me. It makes it sound like a solid argument buying one....

If I find a sealed one,

 By: dr.kol : September 6th, 2015-14:18
that might jump to my watch safe. So be careful... Best, Kari

I got a lower estimate from Patek Philippe Salon but I do not really care. Why? I have this watch and do not plan to part from it. I'm actually thinking it with me as a good companion to the last voyage to the coffin. Lol! Best, Kari

lol, right choice anyway ;-) [nt]

reason to be posting such nice photo of your beauty! ;) I like the angle of the picture Regards Edward ...

personally.....

.... I prefer the white over the classic blue for the 5980/1a. The white feels more legible and details are less cramped. Just my opinion only. Any 5980 dials is still lovely! Cheers!

So do I Chuck

I think that it is really a matter of taste. I rpefer the 5726 and the 5980 in white but I prefer the 5711 in blue. Nice to have the choice indeed Cheers, Mark
