Officine Panerai

Just a guess

but I believe that
a) their internal testing makes more sense since the entire watch is tested and not just the movement without the case like at COSC
b) COSC charges money for their certification and a lot of manufacturers now including Panerai came up with better more realistic ways to test their watches (i.e JLC, Lange, GO, AP, Patek, etc)

I have a couple of watches with and without COSC and the COSC ones don't perform any better than the ones without it...

cheers
