vegetables, and beef stew w/ turnips - two of my favorite Chinese dishes from this hole-in-wall place  in Chinatown.  But after viewing your post, I am hungry again.  Dang ! ! ! !  Must try out your place soon.

I almost went for Chinese food tonight, but we ended up having burgers instead.  I do love a good burger!

Definitely check this restaurant out when you can, Frederick!

Thank you Daos!  Most people associate Korean with BBQ but there are many different variations and we love them all!

In my predominantly Korean 'hood, we are blessed to be close to some pretty good Korean fare without venturing to K-town!  but we may visit this one!

Nice report Daos, the food looks really tasty.  I love Korean food but a little embarrassed to admit that I mainly eat either Korean BBQ (Chosun, Hae Wun Dae, and Soowon) and Kyochon for Korean fried chicken.  I really enjoy dumplings so I've got try this place soon.  Thanks for the delicious looking pictures.

...for the kind words about the post.  I really, really enjoy Kyochon.  I tend not to go to shopping malls, but I'll make an exception and swing by Glendale Galleria for some Kyochon.  I like the chicken wings and the chicken tenders that have a puffed rice coating. 

The dumplings were very well done at Myung Dong Kyoja.  I was impressed at the delicacy of the wrappers.  I hope you try the restaurant soon.

You gotta love these Korean foods!  I do and miss very much.  There are Korean town here in Tokyo, I heard, but I have not ventured out there yet.  I miss Korean berbeque, too....

...good things to eat where you are, I know you'll never go hungry.    My next stop on the foodie train is a new Japanese pub I've been wanting to try.  There's nothing like a cold beer and some skewered chicken gizzards!

....I do like my kimchi and bbq...and those chewy noodles look great.  

I only go to a couple of Korean restaurants. One, I have no idea what it is called, but I know how to get there. The other just because it is in walking distance from home, plus they stock a good range of Korean beers there.

...is the perfect accompaniment to spicy noodles.  Yum!  I've been laughing at a recent series of Coors beer commercials touting their new holographic label on which mountains appear if the beer is cold enough.  The commercials make it seem like Coors came up with this new awesome label technology when Korean beers have been doing this for ages!  LOL!

I cannot wait to have chewy Korean noodles and steamed dumplings again!
