I am being conditioned here - I know 44mm luks ridiculous on my wrists but then I see these DSOTM and Offshores on small wrists and I think they dont luk bad :p [nt]

LOL, well I can only speak from personal experience. I have a 16.25 - 16.5cm (6 1/2") + or - sized wrist and as you can see this 44mm Apollo 8 fits well...
i think it fits better than the other 44mm DSOTM models as it is thinner due to the 1869 Lemania manual movement and not the automatic movement. Also the black case looks slight smaller than SS or other color tones.
Your wrist size is not as important as the shape of your wrist. If you have a slightly flat wrist, it would better accommodate a larger sized watch but the secret is the lug shape and length as there are large diameter watches which wear smaller and more comfortable than smaller diameter watches with longer lugs 😉
