Respo, my experience jibes with yours.
In fact, in most cases, I don't even need to "start it up" with a manual wind, I just give it a couple of shakes, set the time, and off I go.
The cal. 2121 is legendary for good reasons...
How right you are!
The elusive ref. 15002:

Still working on my next AP project. Sigh!

One of the true icons of the watch industry.

Nicolas,
congratulations for your beautiful RO Jumbo. To me the early Jumbos are absolutely incredible due to their "two-dimensionalness". Large diameter and lack of height give a unique wearing experience. I also prefer them to the PP Nautilus because they have more interesting details like the hobnail dial, the multi-link bracelet or the screwset bezel.
The only major drawback are service cost and turnaround time...

Of a stunning watch!
Pure, simple and elegant, just the way I like them!

A revelation.
To be classified in the " Lees is more " category.

Your answer reminds me a famous post from another Bernard, Bernard CHEONG, who tasted an U.N Freak in an ( empty ) glass of wine.
Thanks for your warm welcome back.
Best, my friend.
