I totally agree with you and Thomas on the fact that you just have to give it a few turns before wearing it, BUT as it has a slow change of the date, if your watch is not on the correct day, you have to use this crown to set the date...

If the date is far from being at the correct day, the experience lay be painful.

congratulations for your beautiful RO Jumbo. To me the early Jumbos are absolutely incredible due to their "two-dimensionalness". Large diameter and lack of height give a unique wearing experience. I also prefer them to the PP Nautilus because they have more interesting details like the hobnail dial, the multi-link bracelet or the screwset bezel.

The only major drawback are service cost and turnaround time...

You're perfectly right about the volume of this watch, which is really the strong point.

Think about it: Now, Sport watches are relatively big and thick.

This one, some 30 years ago, was considered as big, it remained thin.

Nowadays, it is an example of elegance, in the sport chic watch category.

before tasting: it is a true beauty.

during tasting: no need to care the watch, it is light and thin and comfortable, like with nature protection, invisible shield, free from scratch

after tasting: surely a stunning piece, it can go to whatever event without any non-matching feeling,

all in all: ever beauty and tells the accurate time.

what! a watch is to tell time. i am sure i do not wake up yet as it should be collected rather telling the time.
