weeks ago, we attended these Amvox and and Aston Martin lauch in Singapore. 

it is wonderful idea of using watch to control the car. of course the Amvox is great of itself.

I have handled some of the other Amvox chronos and they are all nice.  A co-worker owns and frequently wears the RG LE version.  It is stunning.  But these new iterations have a very unique look to my eye.

I think it's the partial open dial and carbon counter discs that makes this particular version so appealing.

Michael you cannot resist!  I see a white dial JLC in your future!    What are your opinions of the strap?  I felt that it was a great sporty match to the Aston Martin racing element.

i initially didnt like the look of it, but these pics have changed my mind. the pics of the beautiful women in positions of responsibility within AM and JLC are also lovely to see. there's nothing more exciting than a beautiful woman with Power(not Margaret Thatcher) 

AM's are beautiful car's, but having sat in a V8 Vantage i dont think i could drive one regularly. i can get in but would have to fall out like i did in my Smart roadster.

MW you forgot to mention that the gearbox is at the rear of the car giving near perfect 50/50 weight distribution. a piece of engineering from the UK that isnt nailed together in a shed is a wonderful thing to see.

i'm hoping that the more editions of the Amvox II that come out the cheaper the originals will become so i can afford one

Hello Graham!

You are correct on the tranny is located in the back to accomplish the near 50/50 ratio that everyone strives for.  I mentioned the carbon fiber drive shaft and the engine placement but forgot to tie it in with the gearbox.  Thanks for reminding me of that.  Ms. Francesca S. expanded on the mechanical details (she really knew her stuff) of all this on my tour of the DB9.

You may be stunned by the beauty of Stephanie, Kate, and Francesca but wait until you meet them in person.  Their friendliness as well as in depth product knowledge will win you over.

Hopefully my pics give you even more incentive to visit Los Angeles!

Clearly we see automotive cues in its design as well.  Is the color behind the holes a light blue?  It looks great IMO.  It looks pliable and comfortable.  Any other shots showing the clasp too?

The strap perforation are white, I think my camera white balance setting/difusser makes it look that way.  The deployant clasp is the JLC double deployant.  I will have video up shortly of the watches.

Here's what i think on 2 new Amvox Racing:

- i love the strap. The orange is fantastic with the black, and overall the racing aspect is perfectly conveyed
- If i had to choose between the two, with no hesitation, the white face version.

However, with that said, i much prefer the original AMVOX2. These versions seem too busy for my liking, carbon fiber, open dial, etc... Just loses the simplicity of the original, and as i grow older, my tastes get simpler and i easily get confused

And what have they done to the hands ???... Thats a big mistake imho, the hands were part of the AMVOX DNA. Even though i didnt like them at first, i cant imagine an AMVOX without the arrow on the minute hand

I had a EWC Rossi i traded off a couple of weeks ago because i found RG was too heavy for me and as i viewed the EWC as an everyday tool watch, it kind of defeated the purpose of having the heavy rose gold version.

I had a 'basic' EWC that i got rid of last year, and i miss it dearly.

Im getting another one before the end of the year.

I just love it as a tool watch

And actually think the basic titanium/steel version is still the best one out there.

As you, I didn't like a lot the idea to see a new Amvox II...

I'm an happy owner of the first version of the Amvox II, and it is still honeymoon.

But the more I see this new one, the more I like it...

I had the same reserves about the hour / minute hands, but now I'm used to see the arrow on the hour hand.

It may be a matter of time to get used to it.

To be honest, I love so much this Racing Edtion that I ordered one...



And I will defintely keep My A II platinum, too.

I must be nut...Completely nut.
