Ulysse Nardin Perpetual Ludwig

I am not sure where to begin to describe this very fine and very rare watch.  If you are not familiar with it you will be surprised to know that this watch can be set both forwards and backwards.  It is the only perpetual calendar mechanism in the world that allows this.  All functions are set with the crown - there are no holes in the case and no pushpin to lose. It is incredibly easy to maintain and highly legible.  This is one of the most desirable perpetuals in the market.  It is the only perpetual that will not have to be returned to the manufacture to be reset for your great-grandchildren in 2100.

This watch is in mint condition and comes with the beautiful UN wood presentation case, chronometer certificate and original papers from an authorized US dealer.  Ulysse Nardin completely serviced the watch in March 2005.  It has been gently and rarely worn and keeps excellent time. 

The watch is 38.5mm x 12.5mm.  It was made in a limited edition of 150 platinum pieces to celebrate UN's 150th anniversary and has long been sold out at authorized dealers.  The beautiful dial is silver guilloche.

I have not seen an ad for this watch in years.  The original retail price was $28,000.  I am asking $21,500 with settlement by bank wire transfer.  I will pay shipping charges.
