Hello everyone,
Up for sale is my Rolex Date 1500. Asking £3,250 OBO. The watch is in good cosmetic and mechanical condition—worn minimally and always stored properly. The dial is the collectible ‘Sigma’ variant. The “σ” (sigma) symbol indicates the use of solid gold for the hour markers and hands, even on stainless steel models. Produced mainly in the 1970s, sigma dials are relatively rare and sought after by collectors. For a watch of its age there is some sagging to the original Oyster bracelet but is still totally wearable and robust. It’s been stored in a PELI 1450 watertight case (not included) in a temperature-controlled room, opened monthly to give the movement a full wind.
