Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated bi-directional revolving black bezel for the decompression times, "Triplock" winding-crown protected by the "crown guard". D. Black with tritium coated round, triangular and bâton indexes. Tritium coated "skeleton" hands. M. Cal. 1570, rhodium plated, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance-spring, Microstella regulating screws.Dial, case and movement signed. This one-owner 5512 was produced in 1979, and purchased new from an AD during the fall of 1981. It has been serviced exclusively at Rolex New York over the course of 27 years. It retains a matte dial with tritium markers and tritium hands replaced by Rolex New York with parts special ordered from Rolex Switzerland in late 1989. The matte dial and hands are genuine Rolex, and have never been refinished or relumed. Clean, watertight case, no corrosion. Serial and reference numbers distinct. Original fliplock bracelet and end pieces, bracelet has some stretch. The bezel is original. The insert is a Rolex service replacement w/ Luminova pearl. Domed Rolex crystal. This 5512 was serviced by Rolex New York in May 2007. It has remained in storage since. Several months of warranty on that service remain, and papers from this service will be included. Rolex NY has service records on file for this model for 3/89, 12/89, 8/93, 8/02, 5/07.

This 5512 comes with original Rolex green inner box, gold outer box, red chronometer tag w/ gold/green braided string, stainless anchor w/ silver thread in pouch, "Your Rolex Oyster booklet" dated 5/81 and "Rolex Submariner booklet" dated 6/81.
