Description

Hi folks,

I got this for my missus, but unfortunately, she prefers something dressier and does not fancy sporty looking watches. Thought it will be a great companion to my Submariner 1680 then. Well, lets just put it, Venus vs Mars thing.

For sale today is complete Lady Sub ref. 96090, with full boxes (double box) with original perforated papers, AND as this was just serviced in a year plus ago, the service papers with service pouch is included as well. What a set! I'm sure this is the best Lady Sub deal you will ever find.

This is a rather rare piece as production period is very short and as you probably know, if your missus wants a lady's version of the "Submariner" looking watch, this is THE watch, THE deal. I'm sure you already know that Rolex/ Tudor no longer make "Submariner" looking Lady watches for some reason.

Watch is serviced in RSC, and everything is almost as good as new. The servicing cost SGD 608 in total.

Overall watch is rated at 98%. The matt dial has beautiful ivory colored markers, as the same as the tritium lume dot on the bezel. Dial is 99.99% perfect. Hands have been changed but it is tritium as advised by RSC people. Bezel is 99.99% with no scratch or blemish. Totally awesome. I have never seen this complete, and beautiful condition for sale anywhere.

Folded oyster bracelet and clasp are almost like new, and it has been resized to fit my missus small wrist. However, all links are included in the sale.

Everything works like it should, water-pressure tested, gasket changed, etc etc. So, there is nothing needed but to wear and enjoy it.

Here are the dirty shots of the actual watch:

I do not intend to sell it cheap; I have spent many months hunting this watch down, filtering those with blemished dials, jubilee bracelets versions, incompete set, etc etc. Furthermore, I have spend abit on the servicing, to give the very best to my missus.

Having said that, my price is fair, I am asking for USD 1,200 (OBO) shipped to your doorstep. Please no low ballers and I am not looking for trades at the moment.

Solid references upon request. I have been around, and quite everywhere.

CERN 1019
The Rolex Milgauss Reference 1019 'CERN dial' was designed for scientists in high-magnetic environments like CERN. It featured a non-luminous dial and a shield to protect from magnetic fields. Only a few hundred were made from the late 1960s to mid 1970s, linking science to watchmaking.
