There is so much one can research about this reference, personal opinion' the standard for the annual calendar.  Details like the concave lockring, the size of the crown  there is so much to appreciate about this reference from Patek.  It seemed Patek might have put a lot of effort into the AC.  When the 5135 was introduced the case by Atelier Réunis was one of the most complicated case constructed at this time by Patek.

Having numerous Pateks, the AC of the late 90s early 2000s seemed like a good choice then followed by the 5960 which had the added chrono function, with no complaints after understanding the design making it more a a 2 in 1.

📖 About This Reference

The Patek Philippe reference 5035 introduced the annual calendar complication to the brand's regular production lineup, marking a significant development in accessible high horology. This reference automatically accounts for months with 30 or 31 days, requiring manual adjustment only once a year at the end of February. Its introduction provided collectors with a sophisticated calendar function that was more practical for daily wear than a perpetual calendar, yet still showcased Patek Philippe's technical prowess. The 5035 features a 37 mm case, offered in 18k yellow gold, white gold, or rose gold, with a smooth bezel. It is powered by the automatic caliber 315 S IRM QA, which includes a power reserve indicator, date, and small seconds. The movement provides a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the watch is water resistant to 25 meters. This reference appeals to collectors seeking a historically important Patek Philippe annual calendar. Its design is characterized by a balanced dial layout, typically in silver, with sub-dials for the month, day, and date, along with a power reserve indicator. The 5035 was produced from 1996 to 2006, establishing the annual calendar as a core complication within the Patek Philippe collection.

The best Patek Annual Calendar
I’m not sure if this topic has ever been discussed before, but I would like to ask forum members what would be his or her favorite Patek Annual Calendar and why? I have long admired Patek Philippe for coming up with this complication. Even though it sits under the Perpetual Calendar in terms of func

PP Newbie Advice / thoughts, please.
Hi folks. Virgin PP buyer looking for opinions, please! These are in the order I like, rather than what might be the better investment; All are broadly similar in price at circa 15-20k currently I love the Travel Time 5134, likely in P variant. They were only made for 5 years and the P is obviously

Opinions Please? Which Patek references look great with Yellow Gold case?
Looking to narrow down the field of modern (let's say 21st century) Patek references/models that look best in Yellow Gold case metal. If you wanted to add a Patek yellow gold watch to your collection - what reference would it be? Best, Robert
